South Carolina Protesters Join National Call For Trump’s Tax Returns

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)-Dozens of South Carolinians wanted their voices heard as they protested in front of the State House Saturday to demand President Trump Release his tax returns.

Taking part in the national “Tax March” residents gathered at the state house with signs held high an;d voices loud. Protesters were chanting “we want to know what you owe.”

Many of them say it’s time for the president to cash in on his campaign promise.

At that first debate with Hillary Clinton, Trump promised he’d eventually release his returns.

This year’s National Tax Day, the IRS filing deadline for 2016 tax returns, is on Tuesday.
